Jackson Lake Fishing Guide

Jackson Lake is one of the oldest reservoirs in Georgia and is 4,750 acres, 135 miles shoreline, a maximum depth of 94 feet, at an elevation of 161 feet and is located in is located in Jasper, Newton and Butts Counties, just 44 miles southeast of Atlanta, Georgia.

Jackson Lake has four marinas, which most them have services and public access ramps. Jackson Lake boat ramps are located at Gus's Landing, Ocmulgee River Public Access, Riverside Park, Lloyd Shoals Park and Factory Shoals Recreation Area.

Jackson Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Bluegill, Redbreast Sunfish, Redear Sunfish, Channel Catfish and White Catfish.
