Boone Lake is a reservoir in Sullivan and Washington counties in northeastern Tennessee and located on the South Fork of the Holston River.
Boone Lake is 4,500 acres, over 160 miles of shoreline, 32.7 miles in length, average depth is about 44 feet, maximum depth of 129 feet, elevation of 1,384 feet
Boone Lake has seven public boat ramps and eight marinas located around the reservoir. There's an excellent public fishing pier on Boone Lake that is located at the Devault Bridge near Winged Deer Park.
Boone Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Rock Bass, White Bass, Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Bluegill, Redear Sunfish and Blue Catfish.
