Hartwell Lake is a 56,000 acres-acre lake with 960 miles of shoreline and depths up to 185 feet that crosses the boundaries of both Georgia and South Carolina and offers prime fishing location all year round.
Hartwell Lake Fishing
Hartwell Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Spotted Bass, Rainbow Trout, Walleye, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Bluegill, Sunfish, Yellow Perch, White Perch and Flathead Catfish. A valid South Carolina or Georgia fishing license is required.
