Vermilion Lake Fishing Guide

VermilionLacs Lake is a shallow freshwater lake in northeastern Minnesota that's 40,000 acres, 1200 miles of shoreline, 365 islands, tretches, maximum depth of 76 feet, 40 miles across the heart of Minnesota's Arrowhead Region and is the fifth largest of all the lakes in Minnesota.

Vermilion Lake is very popular for fishing for Walleye, but has also become a hotbed for muskie, bass, panfish and other species. While walleye are still the highest demand fish.

Vermilion Lake has 365 islands, numerous drop-offs, sand-bottom, rock bottom, sunken islands and reefs to fish from.

Vermilion Lacs Lake offers great fishing for Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Muskellunge, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Hybrid Sunfish, Shiners and Minnows.
