Nacimiento Lake (aka Dragon Lake) is 8.6 mile long 5,400 acre lake, 160+ miles of shoreline, 200 feet max depth at an elevation of 800 feet that is located near the west coast in San Luis Obispo County.
Nacimiento Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Rainbow Trout, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Bluegill, Green Sunfish, Redear Sunfish, Channel Catfish and White Catfish.
Lake Nacimiento is the only lake in California stocked with white bass.
