Balboa Lake Fishing Guide

Lake Balboa is a is a 27 acre lake  and is open from sunrise to sunset. Fishing is restricted to specific grass areas adjoining the water.

Lake Balboa is stocked by the Department of Fish and Game with Rainbow Trout during the Winter and Spring.

Channel Catfish is also stalked at Lake Balboa during the Summer and Fall.

You can also fish for for Largemouth Bass and Carp.

A license is required for patrons 16 years and older and California Department of Fish and Game regulations apply. Fishing is restricted to specific grass areas adjoining the water. Fishing from the walkway is prohibited (except for wheelchair bound persons).
