Cachuma Lake is a great fishing reservoir in the Santa Ynez Valley of central Santa Barbara County, California on the Santa Ynez River adjoining the north side of California State Route 154.
Cachuma Lake is at 753 feet and offers great fishing for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, catfish, crappie, bluegills and redear sunfish.
Cachuma Lake is stocked with 150,000 trout annually from October through April.
