Canyon Lake is nestled amongst the mysterious and rugged Superstition Mountain and is a bass fishing jewel of the Arizona Desert. Canyon Lake has a water surface area of 950 acres and is the third and smallest of four lakes created along the Salt River. However, be-aware the Canyon Lake get pretty crowded during the summertime as it is so close to the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
