Whitney Lake is a reservoir on the main stem of the Brazos River in Texas at an elevation of 533 feet. and is located  5.5 miles southwest of Whitney, 30 miles north of Waco, and 65 miles southwest of Fort Worth.

Whitney Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, White Bass, Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Bluegill, Green Sunfish, Longnose Gar, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish and Blue Catfish.
