Spooner Lake is a man-made reservoir in on the east side of Lake Tahoe, has sparkling clear waters and covers about 78 surface acres and has a depth of nearly 20 feet at maximum capacity and is an elevation at 6,980.
Fish for native Lahontan cutthroat trout and other hybrids like the rainbow trout, brown trout, bowcutt, brook trout and tiger trout.
The best time to fish at Spooner Lake is from May through October.

Spooner Lake is accessible all year. and can be accessed from any part of Lake Tahoe.
From Incline Village take California Highway 28 south along the east side of the Lake Tahoe. Go about 10 miles south of Incline Village, turn left when you see the Spooner Lake sign.
