Rio Vista Community Park is a 52 acre park in Peoria, AZ that offers a wide variety of activities and amenities for the community. It is home to the Rio Vista Recreation Center, multiple athletic fields, playground and splash pad, and much more.
Rio Vista Lake / urban lake (which is really known as or Rio Vista Pond) is a 2.7 acre pond with a maximum depth 14 feet. Here at Rio Vista Lake you can fish for: Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Bluegill, Sunfish, Channel Catfish and White Amur
Rio Vista Lake is stocked with fish and per the The Arizona Game and Fish department 80 percent of the stocked fish are usually caught within the first 30 days of the release date.
Urban Fishing Program
A class U Urban Fishing License is required to fish in the pond. Fishing pond is open during park hours only. 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Licenses can be purchased from the Arizona Game and Fish Department online or at more than 300 license dealers statewide.

- Travel west on Thunderbird Road approximately 0.3 miles to the stoplight.
