Pyramid Lake, located in the Angeles and Los Padres National Forests, offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, Bluegill, Black Crappie, and Rainbow Trout and is regularly stocked throughout the year.

Pyramid Lake is a 1,300+ acre lake, with over 20 miles of shoreline with a maximum depth of 700 feet and is at an elevation of 2,579 feet.
Pyramid Lake - Prime Real Estate
At Pyramid Lake Spanish Point, Tin Cup, Bear Trap, Yellowbar and Serrano day use areas offers remarkable views, unique beautiful beaches, picnic sites and great fishing points. These locations are small islands day use areas that are on a first-come, first serve basis and only accessible by boat.
Fishing at Emigrant Gap is also accessible to wheelchair users.

Pyramid Lake Emigrant Landing Day Use Area
Emigrant Landing boat launch is reached via Smokey Bear exit from Interstate 5 and is the largest day use recreation area on beautiful Pyramid Lake, but it does accept any reservations. Learn more here

Pyramid Lake Vaqueor Beach Day Use Area
Vaquero Beach is located just below the Vista del Lago Visitor Center, is nice day-use area that is an easy accessible launching point for non-motorized boat launching.

- Pyramid Lake Marina rents out Kayaks, Canoes, Fishing Boats and Pontoon boats with a minimum of 2 hours to a hour day. Click here for boat rental fees
Pyramid Lake Park Hours
Monday-Sunday
- Gate Hours: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Bait Shop: 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Boat Rentals: 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
No rentals after 2:00 p.m. - Personal Boats: No launching after 3 p.m.
- Boats must be off the water by 5 p.m.
