Papago Ponds Community Lake is a small, man-made lake located in Phoenix, AZ

Papago Ponds Community Lake is three ponds at 6 acres. Pond #1 has a maximum depth 8 feet, Pond #2 has a maximum depth 7 feet and Pond #3 has a maximum depth 11 feet.

Papago Ponds Community Lake is stocked with a variety of fish that includes: Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Bluegill, Sunfish, Channel Catfish and White Amur

Urban Fishing Program

A class U Urban Fishing License is required to fish in the pond. Fishing pond is open during park hours from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Licenses can be purchased from the Arizona Game and Fish Department online or at more than 300 license dealers statewide.
