Lake Tahoe "aka Big Blue" is the largest alpine lake in North America with a surface area of 193 square miles, 71 miles of shoreline a max depth of 1,645 ft, 22 miles in length, 12 miles in width and no shortage of fishing opportunities here.
There are a few locations in which shore fishing is good such as Kings Beach and in South Lake Tahoe.
