Gross Lake Fishing Guide

Gross Lake is a 440 acres reservoir, 10.9 miles of shoreline located in Boulder County at 7,290 feet elevation.

Boating is permitted, but powerboats are not allowed on Gross Lake making fishing here quiet and peaceful. Boating on Gross Lake is available from May to September

Gross Lake is open year-round on the eastside, but the westside is closed during the winter time.

Gross Lake shore angling and limited boat access is allowed. Ice fishing is allowed on Gross Lake, but at your own risk during the winter.

Gross Lake offers great fishing for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Tiger Trout, Lake Trout, Kokanee Salmon and Tiger Muskie.

The Colorado Division of Wildlife stocks Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Splake and Kokanee Salmon at Gross Lake.
