Eagle Rock Lake is a 3-acre lake in the Carson National Forest that is stocked "loaded" with Rainbow Trout from the nearby Red River fish hatchery. Eagle Rock Lake is an excellent site for lake or stream fishing.
Eagle Rock Lake is a great family friendly lake where parents can take their children to catch Rainbow Trout.
New Mexico Game and Fish stocks the lake with Rainbow Trout on a regular basis from Spring until Fall. Fishing licenses are required and are available locally and online at the NM State Wildlife website.

Eagle Rock Lake is just outside of Questa, just a 1½ miles east of downtown on highway 38.
