Eagle Lake Fishing Guide

Eagle Lake is the second largest natural freshwater lake,and is famous for its Eagle Lake trout. Eagle Lake is 26,000 acres, 58 feet maximum depth at 5,100 feet in elevation and about 16 miles north of Susanville in Lassen County in northeastern region of California.

Eagle Lake offers great fishing for Eagle Lake Trout a subspecies of rainbow trout that can withstand high alkalinity. Eagle Lake Trout adults can grow to 17 to 18 inches in size and live up to 11 years.
