Cataract Lake is a popular fishing lake that is located on the Williams Ranger District about one mile northwest of Williams and is open seasonally for day-use only.

Cataract Lake offers great fishing for: rainbow trout and brown trout, but you can also fish for largemouth Bass, crappie, bluegill and channel catfish.

Cataract Lake is generally stocked with rainbow trout and brown trout, but you can also fish for largemouth Bass, crappie, bluegill and channel catfish.

You can catch catfish mostly on the road side of the lake while the bluegill were along the dam. Brown trout can be caught on the north side of the lake.
