Black Lake is a natural, glacier lake located in the northern part of New York 2 hours north of Syracuse that's 7,593 acres, 20 miles long by 3 1/2 miles at its widest point, over 60 miles of shoreline combined with numerous islands, with an average depth of 8 feet and a maximum depth of 40 feet at an elevation of 272 feet.
