Bartlett Lake Fishing Guide

Bartlett Lake spans more than 2,000 acres and routinely produces some of the biggest fish in the state and is located on the Verde River in central Arizona.

A current Arizona fishing license is required to fish Bartlett Lake and is available through the Arizona Game and Fish Department website or at retailers across the state.

Bartlett Lake is Located 45 minutes North of  Phoenix and has been a favorite local hotspot with anglers since the construction of Bartlett Dam in 1939 because Barlett lake is so close.

To get to Bartlett Lake, head northeast from Carefree on the Cave Creek road to the Bartlett Dam Road turnoff.
