Aurora Lake is a 31,650 acre reservoir that is over 2 miles long and a mile and half wide and over 6 miles of shoreline, 29 feet average depth with a max depth of 110 feet that is located in the far southeastern reach of Aurora, Colorado at an elevation of 5,950′

Aurora Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Walleye, Tiger Muskie, Wipers, Yellow Perch, Sunfish and Channel Catfish.

Aurora Lake Fishing Regulations

  • Minimum size for walleyes is 18” long. Only 1 walleye longer than 21” can be taken per day.
  • Minimum size for largemouth and smallmouth bass is 15”.
