Almanor Lake Fishing Guide

Lake Almanor is a large reservoir in northwestern Plumas County, northeastern California, just 28 miles west of Susanville, C. Almanor Lake is a 28,000 acre lake that is 13 miles long and 6 miles wide and has a capacity of 1,308,000 acre feet and a maximum depth of about 90 feet at an elevation is 4500 feet.

Almanor Lake offers great fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Sacramento Perch and Channel Catfish.
